Remember 9/11 with the gift of blood

Cape Cod Healthcare is offering the public a way to pay tribute to the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11/01 tragedy, through the gift of blood.

CCHC will have extended Blood Call Center hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Sept. 6-9, during which the public can call in and make a pledge to donate blood at one of our collection centers.

Call 508-86BLOOD (508-862-5663) to make a pledge and set up an appointment.

The public is also invited to donate blood at one of three Blood Drives:

  • Thursday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Lorusso Board Room at Cape Cod Hospital.
  • Friday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Faxon Center of Falmouth Hospital.
  • Monday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Lorusso Board Room at Cape Cod Hospital.

No appointments are necessary for the blood drives. Walk-ins are always welcome at CCHC collection centers.

Blood drives are ongoing throughout the year at CCHC. For a complete list of upcoming drives, visit www.capecodhealth.org.
