CHEEK, Marc A, a.k.a. Smith, Allen; Moore, Terry; Allen, Marcus; Watt, Wahdeem; Cheeks, Marcus; 37, 244 North St, Apt 3, Hyannis; larceny of a motor vehicle; larceny over $250 by false pretenses, August 18 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for October 3.  According to police reports, a man reported a disabled motorcycle stolen from the property of 153 Winter Street.  A witness stated he saw a white Chevrolet pickup truck pull into the parking lot.  Two men, a white male with red hair and a black male, along with a white or Hispanic female, emerged and scrutinized the motorcycle, a 2008 Suzuki blue-gray MC valued at $7,000.  The black male directed the man with red hair to tell the pickup's driver to pull it up to the front parking lot of a nearby synagogue.  The truck's occupants set up a ramp, wheeled the motorcycle onto the truck bed then drove away.  Police identified the truck by its license plate.  The police report states Cheek was arrested because he facilitated the theft of the motorcycle, by falsely representing ownership of it.

ADKINS, Jason W, 29, 11 Sleepy Hollow Ln, Sandwich; Class A drug possession with intent to distribute, heroin; conspiracy to violate drug laws, May 9 in Barnstable.  Nolle prosequi.  Defendant indicted in Superior Court.  According to police reports, Barnstable narcotics detectives conducting surveillance on Adkins, a "known heroin distributor" observed a potential transaction with two others.  Officers saw a hand-to-hand exchange between Adkins and another person involving cash and a cigarette package.  Adkins was then stopped by detectives, who found him in possession of $800 cash.  The other party was stopped in a motor vehicle, and surrendered a plastic bag holding about ten (10) grams of heroin.

BERRIOS, Joshua, 25, 417 Summer St, W. Yarmouth; OUI liquor, second offense; negligent operation of a motor vehicle, November 8 2010 in Barnstable.  Guilty plea, both counts.  Guilty finding, both counts.  One year house of correction, suspended two years.  Fourteen-day inpatient care.  Drug- and alcohol-free.  Continued for payment, probation until September 13 2013.

BUTLER, Sharon L, 41, homeless; sexual conduct for a fee, July 23 in Barnstable.  Guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  $100 fine.  Continued for payment until October 14 2011. 

HUNT, Marion F, 51, 110 Regional Ave, Yarmouth; receiving stolen property over $250, February 2 in Yarmouth.  Guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  Sixty days house of correction, committed.

NETO, Miguel T, 34, 64 Greenwood Ave, Hyannis; assault & battery, July 2 in Barnstable.  Dismissed.  Defendant's passport to be returned by Probation.
