ARRAIGNMENTS

BEAVAN, Sarah A, 31, 607 Setucket Rd, S. Dennis; trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium, December 7 in Brewster.  Pretrial conference scheduled for January 4 2012.  According to police reports, Beavan was the operator of a vehicle stopped by Brewster police along with the Massachusetts State Police Drug Task Force near Exit 11 of the Mid-Cape Highway.  The vehicle had been tracked from a rest area between exits 9 and 10, where a male passenger met with "at least five" other vehicles.  This followed a meet between said passenger and a "street level narcotics dealer," VAIL at a rest area off Route 6 between exits 6 and 7.  See VAIL, below.  Police found thirty pills on the passenger's person and in the automobile.  He and Beavan were arrested.

PURTLE, Rachel K, 20, 90 Gages Way, Brewster; assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, a cup of hot chocolate; assault & battery, December 8 in Brewster.  Pretrial conference scheduled for December 23.

VAIL, Andrew S, 41, 17 Capt. William Arthur Rd, Brewster; trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium, December 7 in Brewster. Pretrial conference scheduled for January 4 2012.  See BEAVAN, above.  Vail was apprehended with approximately four hundred pills.

MEAGHER, Brian F, 50, 101 Moss Ln, Brewster; OUI liquor; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; marked lanes violation; speeding, September 28 in Brewster.  OUI, guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  Six months house of correction, suspended two years; probation until December 6 2013.  14-day inpatient.  Drug- and alcohol-free, with screens.  Negligent operation, dismissed.  Marked lanes, responsible.  Speeding, not responsible.
