ARRAIGNMENTS

DEGRACE JR, Chris, 19, 4 Tattler Cir, Cataumet; breaking & entering at daytime for felonious purposes; larceny over $250, December 10 2011 in Barnstable.  Co-defendant with WOOLLAM.  Pretrial conference scheduled for January 26.

GOFF, Stephanie D, 26, 40 Spring St, Hyannis; two counts, assault & battery on a police officer; resisting arrest, January 12 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for February 15.  According to police reports, officers arrived at 40 Spring Street following a report of a suicidal person.  They found an adult male in the basement hanging by his neck, lifted him to prevent asphyxiation, then untied the cord and confirmed the man was breathing.  At this time, a topless woman identified as Goff entered the basement, wearing only sweatpants.  The officers identified themselves as Barnstable police, informed her of the attempted suicide then questioned her.  Goff was uncooperative.  According to the report, Goff was "clearly impaired" and "began running around the house from one room to another."  In fear of their safety, the police attempted to restrain her.  Goff tried to bite, kick and strike them as the struggle continued.  She was arrested. 

GREENE, Chantelle E, 23, homeless; larceny under $250; attempting to commit a crime; two counts, larceny over $250 by single scheme; two counts, larceny over $250 from a 60+/disabled person; three counts, larceny under $250 by false pretenses; six counts, forgery of check; six counts, uttering a false check, January 11 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for February 14. 

MARTIN, Ryan C, 29, 926 Rte 6A, Yarmouth Port; attempted murder; assault & battery, January 11 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for February 6.

PINA, Corey A, 20, 441 Buck Island Rd, Apt F4, W. Yarmouth; breaking & entering at nighttime for felonious purposes; possessing a burglarious instrument, a crowbar; attempting to commit a crime; vandalizing property; Class C drug possession, clonazepam (Klonapin); Class D drug possession, marijuana, January 12 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for February 15.  According to police reports, Pina was handcuffed after a struggle near the driveway to 8 Mirror Brook Road.  He wore a black glove on one hand, his left, a crowbar by his feet.  Pina was arrested in connection with a break-in at 8 Mirror Brook Road.  Police found nine individual baggies of marijuana and two Klonapin pills on Pina's person.

PINA, same.  Breaking & entering a building at nighttime for felonious purposes; attempting to commit a crime; vandalizing property, January 12 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for February 15.  See above.  According to police reports, Pina was arrested for breaking into a red Mazda CX-7 sport utility vehicle, then attempting to steal the vehicle's air bag by taking apart the steering column.  This incident is alleged to have occurred prior to the docket above, on the same evening.

WHELCHEL, Lisa A, 48, 118 Pine St, Hyannis; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, oxycodone (OxyContin), January 11 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for February 14.

DISPOSITIONS

LOZADA, Eric, 47, 91 Clifton Ln, Centerville; breaking & entering at daytime for felonious purposes, July 31 2011 in Barnstable.  Dismissed.
