Warren was "beamed down" to run against Brown [Letter]

Editor's note: The following letter was received in response to a  recent letter entitled "Elizabeth Warren: a woman of substance and intelligence".

To the Editor:

This is in response to the letter from Ms. Jackie Styles of Harwich, who supports Elizabeth Warren in the upcoming election for Massachusetts Senator.  While I admire her support for her candidate and congratulate her for coming forth with words of encouragement, I do take issue with her implication that Ms. Warren with follow her conscience if elected.

Let us not forget that Elizabeth Warren was hand-picked by the administration in Washington to enter this race.  In a manner of speaking, she was "beamed down" by David Axelrod to run against Scott Brown, who is regarded by the Obama administration as being vulnerable.  Her job description, if elected, is to cast votes exactly in the manner Harry Reid instructs her to.  An astute and accomplished woman, she knows this and apparently is willing to go along.

So, to Massachusetts voters who might be on the fence -- if you want this country to move in the direction that Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi want, by all means vote for Elizabeth Warren.
