Mid-Cape St. Patrick's Day Parade had a decidedly political tone

If you held a St. Patrick's Day parade and no politician showed up, would anyone  notice?
We'll never know the answer because that's never happend, at least since  the Irish replaced the Yankees on Cape Cod. So between now and March 17th, everyone seems to believe they are Irish. These are scenes from yesterday's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dennis and Yarmouth.

What would an Irish parade be like without some beer? Luckily we didn't have to find out yesterday.
