BELL, Peggy J, 57, 979 Falmouth Rd/Rte 28, Apt D14, Barnstable; OUI liquor; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; refusing to produce license/registration/plates, April 3 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 2.

BITTING, Brian, 32, 154 Center, Apt 2, Yarmouth Port; assault with a dangerous weapon, a hatchet; disorderly conduct, April 4 in Barnstable.  Co-defendant with ERBE.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 2.  According to police reports, Bitting and another male assaulted a patron at Bobby Byrne's restaurant when their demands for crack cocaine or heroin were refused.  Bitting was arrested.

CHICETTO, Bruce W, 53, 76 Beach Rd, W. Yarmouth; violating an abuse prevention order, April 3 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 23.

COVOTTA, Derek M, 37, 979 Falmouth Rd, Hyannis; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, subsequent offense, oxycodone; conspiracy to violate drug laws; carrying a dangerous weapon, a switchblade, April 3 in Yarmouth.  Co-defendant with GROOM and VIERA.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 3.  According to police reports, Covotta effected a hand-to-hand exchange of drugs with the driver of a vehicle parked at Cumberland Farms.  This was followed by a similar transaction with the driver of a blue Subaru.  Covotta was arrested.

ERBE, Herbert, 55, 154 Center, Apt A, Yarmouth Port; assault with a dangerous weapon, pliers with a folding knife blade; disorderly conduct, April 4 in Barnstable.  Co-defendant with BITTING.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 2.

GROOM, James R, 52, 101 Thornberry Cir, Mashpee; Class B drug possession with intent to distribute, oxycodone; conspiracy to violate drug laws, April 3 in Yarmouth.  Co-defendant with COVOTTA and VIERA.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 3.

MAHAR, Michael G, 55, 400 thousand Oaks Dr, Brewster; larceny over $250 by false pretenses, November 25 2011 in Barnstable.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 2.

RAMOS, Frank, 28, 77 Falmouth Rd, Apt 1, Hyannis; larceny over $250, April 3 in Barnstable.  Co-defendant with RIX.  Pretrial conference scheduled for April 23.

RIX, Loretta M, 25 34 Yarmouth Rd, Apt 1, Hyannis; larceny over $250, April 3 in Barnstable.  Co-defendant with RAMOS.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 10.

SANTANA, Jose L, 55, 21 Lyndale, S. Yarmouth; two counts, assault & battery, March 30 in Yarmouth.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 4.

VIERA, Jeffrey A, 30, 6 Sachem Village Rd, Dennis; conspiracy to violate drug laws, April 3 in Yarmouth.  Co-defendant with GROOM and COVOTTA.  Pretrial conference scheduled for May 3.

DISPOSITIONS

FINKLEA, Eli M, 26, 100 Great Pines Rd, Barnstable; larceny of a motor vehicle; disorderly conduct; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, November 17 2011 in Barnstable.  Jury trial.  Operating with a suspended license, guilty plea.  Guilty finding.  Ten days house of correction.  Other counts, dismissed.

MATIENZO, Joaquin J, 27, 19 Saltworks Ln, Yarmouth; assault & battery on a police officer, amended to assault; resisting arrest, September 21 2011 in Yarmouth.  Both counts, admitted to sufficient facts.  Both counts, continued without a finding, continued for payment until October 3.

MOUSTAKAS, James J, 185 Pitchers Way, Hyannis; two counts, assault & battery with a dangerous weapon; assault & battery, January 2 in Barnstable.  All counts dismissed.

WILKINS, Christopher R, 23, 100 Harmony Hill, Apt 212, Bourne; Class A, Class B and Class D drug possession with intent to distribute, October 25 2011 in Barnstable.  All counts dismissed.

ARRAIGNMENTS

BECKWITH, Justin R, 18, 100 Teaticket Highway, Falmouth; breaking and entering into a building in the nighttime for a felony, vandalize property, larceny from a building on March 22 in Falmouth. Co-defendant with Lauzon.  Beckwith is accused of stealing sports memorabilia including a Keith Faulk autographed baseball valued over $250, a Cal Ripken Jr. autographed baseball valued at $300, a Johnny Pesky autographed baseball valued at $300, a Johnny Pesky autographed baseball hat valued at $300 and a Patriots autographed football valued at $300.  Beckwith is reportedly well known to authorities. To date, his rap sheet includes 15 arraignments for six breaking and entering charges, on larceny of a motor vehicle charge and two larceny charges, according to court records.  Hearing scheduled for May 10.

BLAKE, James T, 25, 305 Washington Street, Whitman; failure to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, state highway violation, speeding and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) on April 5 in Bourne. Hearing scheduled for May 4.

CRONAN, Sean P, 23, 96 King Street, Falmouth; assault and battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest on April 5 in Falmouth. Hearing scheduled for May 9.

GOMEZ-WIXON, Wayra, 18, 149 Meetinghouse Road, Mashpee; possession of alcohol on a person under age 21, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, marked lanes violation on April 5 in Mashpee. Hearing scheduled for May 9.

GOULART, Karin A, 28, 20 Edgerton Drive, Falmouth; operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license on March 14 in Bourne. Hearing scheduled for July 3.

LAUZON, Joshua M, 47, 26 Milton Street, Falmouth; breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony, two counts vandalizing property and larceny from a building on March 22 in Falmouth. Co-defendant with Beckwith (see above). Lauzon is also reportedly well known to authorities. His record to date lists 35 arraignments including 12 breaking and entering charges, six larceny charges and six larceny of a motor vehicle charges, according to court reports. Hearing scheduled for May 10.

MacDONALD JR, James T, 31, 54 Haskell Avenue, Revere; assault and battery, two counts assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on March 27 in Mashpee. Hearing scheduled for April 26.

LUMBERT, Joshua T, 27, 16 Holly Lane, Falmouth; assault to murder, intimidation of a witness, resisting arrest, assault with a dangerous weapon (motor vehicle), negligent operation of a motor vehicle on April 5 in Falmouth. Hearing scheduled for April 25.

WARD, Dana A, 26, 198 Club Valley Drive, Falmouth; receive stolen property over $250 on March 29 in Falmouth. Hearing scheduled for May 10.

DISPOSITIONS

BROWN, Natalie K, 22, 52 Capewoods Drive, Falmouth; uninsured motor vehicle on March 14 in Mashpee. Dismissed upon payment of court costs.

ROSADO, Howard, 35, 1964 Whitewater Drive, Rio Rancho, New Mexico; operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, lights violation on December 12 2011 in Bourne. Dismissed upon payment received by May 15.
