Dennis Police/Fire child car seat check point this Saturday

Get your child's car seat checked at no charge

WEST DENNIS - This coming Saturday, April 28, members of the Dennis Police and Fire Departments will hold a child car seat check point at the Dennis Fire Department Headquarters, 833 Main Street (Route 28) in West Dennis from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Trained officers and firefighters will check your child's car seat for the following:

  • Proper installation
  • Is this the proper car seat for your child's size and age?
  • Car seat recalls
  • Car seat age/expiration date

The Dennis Child Safety Seat Team is: Sgt. Sullivan, Officers Winn, Troy, Keating and Swett, and Firefighters O'Connell, Anderson and Larkowski.

No appointments are necessary.  Residents are encouraged to drop by and have the car seat in their vehicle checked.
