Truro Police 6/11-06/17: 168 calls, 3 arrest

During the past week--from Monday, June 11 to Sunday, June 17, the members of the Truro Police Department logged 168 calls. 

Of those calls, there was one motor vehicle accident, one found wallet and one bear sighting before he got busted in Wellfleet.  Truro officers assisted the Wellfleet police, Truro fire, Truro beach commission and the National Seashore.  there were eight fire/rescue calls, 57 traffic stops resulting in 28 violations, well-being checks and one suspicious vehicle.

Three arrests were made during this period:

Paul Shields, 27, of Hollywood, FL, was arrested on Monday, June 11 at 8:37 p.m. on Route 6 by Patrol Officer Scott Holway.

Charles H. Foltz, 51, of 2 Aldrich Road, Truro, was arrested on Wednesday, June 13 at 11:20 a.m. on an warrant as a fugitive from justice by Sgt. Carrie DeAngelo.

Mark C. Appel, 21, of 14 Bayberry Road, Truro, was arrested on Friday, June 15 at 6:27 p.m. on an open warrant by Patrol Officer Jeremiah Z. Valli.
