Sutter’s Spinmiester: The "Flack of Last Resort" Corrigan

Flack of last resort is channeling Sam Sutter these days

White-haired Ernie Corrigan, C. Samuel Sutter's new flak, marching last March in Yarmouth. He used to dance with Cardinal "Let me hide your pedophiles" Law , Audra "$20 million to block a wind farm" Parker and bureaucracy-builder Rob O'Leary, so he apparently sticks with similar types. Ernie'"Cardinal Law, APNS Corrigan PR guy for hire resurfaces, calls Congressman Keating “negative and misleading”

By Walter Brooks

Pretending to be a concerned Democrat, Ernie Corrigan, writes to voters touting Sam Sutter's run against his party's incumbent Congressman Bill Keating saying that Former State Senator Rob O'Leary urged him to work for the challenger.

Corrigan writes the letter as if he’s just a concerned citizen activist, not a professional, paid, employee of the Sutter Campaign.

Since April Federal Election Commission reports show Sutter paid Corrigan $15,000 (about 10% what Sutter has spent in his bid for Congress).

In other words, Corrigan is asking Democrats for donations to pay himself without disclosing that he gets the money.

Ernie Corrigan, known to many as the voice of “innocence” behind the Archdiocese of Boston during the abuse scandal and the Flack for the Association to Block the Wind Farm.

Insiders around here have always known about former State Senator Rob O'Leary close ties to the anti-wind farm money machine. The Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound was led for years by O'Leary's friend and "kitchen cabinet" member Susan Nickerson. He used The Alliance's "flack of last resort" Ernie "Be nice to Cardinal Law" Corrigan as his campaign spokesman as well.

The letter was written on behalf of Sam Sutter asking for donations to Sutter’s campaign and calls Congressman Keating “negative and misleading” and writes that the 2010 campaign in which Bill Keating defeated Jeff Perry as "the most negative and misleading campaign.."
