Harwich High to host 9th District Congressional debate November 2

All three candidates to attend debate

The students of Harwich High School's United States government class will host a 9th District Congressional debate on Friday, November 2 at Harwich High School.  Each of the three candidates, incumbent Rep. Bill Keating (D) and his two opponents, Christopher Sheldon (R) and Daniel Botelho (I), have all confirmed their participation in the event.

The debate will be held in the school auditorium from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.  All junior and senior class members will be in attendance.  The debate is open to other classes and members of the public as well.

The students of John Dickson's US government classes have hosted such debates for the past several elections. Students also conduct exit polling following most major elections.

Harwich High School is on Oak Street in Harwich center.
