Carolers wanted for 7th annual Holiday Cookie Stroll in South Yarmouth

Carolers needed for the 7th annual Holiday Cookie Stroll

Christmas carolers are needed for this year's 7th annual Holiday Cookie Stroll on Saturday, December 8.  The popular event is a benefit for the South Yarmouth Library.

Men and women are wanted to entertain on the day of the stroll. Stroll hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Depending on the number of carolers, there may be two groups with morning and afternoon shifts.  Carolers will be based at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, but may walk through the neighborhood or ride the trolleys.

Anyone interested may sign up at the Cultural Center at 307 Old Main Street in South Yarmouth until Thursday, November 15.  Pick up music when you sign up.  A quick rehearsal will be held at the Cultural Center on Thursday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Carolers will need a black binder to carry their music and are asked to wear "festive Christmas attire" for the stroll.

Anyone with questions should call Maria Marasco at 978-475-5082.

Tickets for the Holiday Cookie Stroll go on sale at the library on Monday, November 19. The "ticket" is a cookbook containing recipes for the cookies featured on the stroll. Participants will receive cookies at 10 sites along a 2-mile tour in the Bass River section of South Yarmouth.

Tickets are $15. Children under 12 are free, but only ticket holders will receive cookies.
