Osterville Village Library aquires new hearing assistance equipment

Equipment a gift from Cape Cod Hearing Center

The Trustees of the Osterville Village Library announced this week that the library has received new hearing assistance equipment.

The equipment is a gift from Dr. Theresa Cullen, President of Cape Cod Hearing Center in Hyannis.  The equipment will allow sound from the library's PA system to be sent wirelessly to an earbud and receiver or directly to those with t-coil hearing aids.

"The equipment will allow patrons with hearing difficulties to fully enjoy the many programs and presentations in the auditorium of the new Osterville Village Library," said Robert Bownes, Vice President of the library's Board of Trustees.

Receivers will be available upon request for any programs in the upstairs auditorium.

The Osterville Village Library is at 43 Wianno Ave., in Osterville. Visit the library's website here.
