Election Day turns Orleans' Rock Harbor Road one way

Road change to ease expected traffic congestion during polling hours
Traffic on Rock Harbor Road in Orleans will be one way during polling hours on Tuesday.

In an effort to ease expected traffic issues on election day (Tuesday, May 21, 2013) in Orleans, Rock Harbor Road will be one way between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Polls will be open at the Orleans Council on Aging at 150 Rock Harbor Road.  Motorists are asked to approach Rock Harbor Road from Main Street where they will be directed to the COA.  Exiting traffic will be directed towards the Orleans Rotary.

Police officers will be posted along the route to direct motorists.

Residents will be electing several town officers and voting on 10 warrant questions.  The warrant is available here.
