Truro two-car crash sends one to the hospital

Two lanes on Route 6 closed as authorities clear scene

NORTH TRURO - A two-car crash on Route 6 in North Truro Wednesday sent one person to the hospital. The crash occurred on Route 6 at Arrowhead Road around 5:30 p.m., police said.

According to a Truro police report, Lucas Pelcher of Colchester, VT was driving north on Route 6 when he struck a car driven by Abby Roderick of Truro.

One person was transported to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis with injuries believed to be non life-threatening. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.

Truro police cited Mr. Pelcher for speeding and failure to use care in stopping.

Two lanes on Route 6 were closed for a short time as police cleared the scene.
