Town of Yarmouth seeks new library director

Candidate will oversee town's two libraries

The Town of Yarmouth is seeking a new library director. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Library Science and five years experience in library administration.

The library director oversees the operation and staff of the Town of Yarmouth's two public libraries, the South Yarmouth Library and the West Yarmouth Library. Combined, the two libraries have a circulation of 230,000 and program attendance of 6,500, according to a release from the town.

The library director reports to the assistant town administrator and works closely with the town library board. The director is based out of the South Yarmouth Library on Old Main Street.

Salary,  based on experience is $63,421 to $74,374 and includes a competitive benefit package.
