Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod exhibit to begin at Cape Cod Museum of Art on October 31

Exhibit will feature the works of twenty-five Signature artists through mid December

The Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod (PPSCC) will present its 2013 Signature Exhibit "Celebrating Color" October 31, 2013 through December 15, 2013 at the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis. A reception will be held at the museum on November 1, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The society holds Signature exhibits every two years. This year, the exhibit will feature 37 paintings by 25 artists. Each year, the more than 250 members of PPSCC are invited to apply for Signature membership. There are currently 50 Signature members in PPSCC.

In addition to regular viewing during the museum's hours (Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.), several special events will be held including a painting demonstration by Signature member Michele Poirier Mozzone and a gallery talk by Cape Cod Museum of Art Curator Michael Giaquinto.
