Falmouth police search for armed bank robber

Suspect reportedly robbed the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod Monday morning

FALMOUTH - Falmouth police are searching for the suspect who reportedly robbed the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod at 660 North Falmouth Highway Monday morning. According to a release from Falmouth police, the masked man entered the bank around 10:30 a.m. brandishing a handgun.

The suspect reportedly fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Clerks told police the man was white and approximately 6'2" to 6'4" tall. He was wearing a mask during the robbery, according to police.

No one was injured during the robbery.

According to police, surveillance footage is not available at this time.

Falmouth police are investigating. Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is asked to call police at 508-457-2527.
