Provincetown police and firefighters to duke it out on the basketball court

Provincetown Recreation Dept. fundraiser promises fun for all

The thin blue line will take on the thin red line in a game of basketball on Saturday, November 23 at the Veterans' Memorial Community Center in Provincetown.

At 3 p.m. in the gymnasium, the Provincetown Police Department will play the Provincetown Fire Department in a Battle of the Badges. The event is a fundraiser for the Provincetown Recreation Department.

There will be a 50/50 raffle and at half time, there will be two chances to win a free turkey. Parent/kid pairs can try their chances to take home a Thanksgiving bird during the free throw shootout or the half court shot.

Admission is $5.  All admission fees and additional donations will benefit the Rec A/C Fund for the town's new community center at 2 Mayflower Street.
