Falmouth man injured in armed home invasion

Falmouth police: Bahia Lane incident was not a random attack

FALMOUTH - One man was injured in an armed home invasion Sunday night in Falmouth. According to a Falmouth police release, several armed suspects entered a home on Bahia Lane around 8:12 p.m.

A resident of the home was reportedly assaulted by the home invaders, police said. A friend brought him to Falmouth Hospital Hospital before officers arrived, according to police. No one else at the home was injured during the invasion.

According to police, the initial evidence indicates that this was not a random attack.

The condition of the victim is unknown. Police did not indicate whether the invaders were known to the residents of the home.

Falmouth police are investigating the incident.
