Special day with Santa for kids with special needs

Caring Santa is presented by Simon Property Group
Santa has a very important appointment in Hyannis Sunday morning, December 8.

Simon Property Group, owners of the Cape Cod Mall, will present Caring Santa on Sunday, December 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Before the Cape Cod Mall opens and Santa and his helpers start their daily routine, children with special needs and their families are invited to have their photo taken with St. Nick.

The Caring Santa program was designed with AbilityPath, an organization that supports the parents of children with special needs.

According to Simon Property Group, extra care is taken to make the morning photo shoot with Santa a positive experience for children with sensory, physical and other developmental needs.

Parents are asked to register for the event in advance by calling Adra Cohen at 508-771-0201 or registering online here. The event is free and professional photo packages will be available for purchase.

Click here for AbilityPath's "Holiday Survival Guide for Families with Special Needs". The informative guide includes "Santa 101: Five Ways to Prepare for a Visit with Santa"--a must read before December 8.

The Cape Cod Mall is on Route 132 in Hyannis.
