Cape Cod Volunteers can help match you with the right opportunity

If you are interested in volunteering and don't know where to begin, Cape Cod Volunteers can help. Every Tuesday in Mashpee and Thursday in Harwich, volunteer consultants are available to match your interests, skills and experience with the right volunteering opportunity.

Anyone interested in volunteering is welcome to either stop by or call 508-362-0242 for an appointment.

Consulting times are on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Mashpee Public Library at 64 Steeple Street in Mashpee and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Harwich Community Center at 100 Oak Street in Harwich.

The Cape Cod Volunteers website has an extensive list of opportunities to fit individual interests from helping animals or people with special needs or boosting awareness about the environment or civic responsibility. Volunteers may also search categories for volunteer opportunities suited for older adults, teens or families. Information about unpaid internships here on the Cape is also available online.

Additional information is available by calling 508-362-0242 or visiting the organization's website here.
