Provincetown man faces meth charges

PROVINCETOWN - A Provincetown man faces meth charges following his arrest Saturday. According to a Provincetown police release, Phillip W. Williams, 44, of 294R Commercial Street, Apt 5 in Provincetown, was placed under arrest Saturday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop.

Williams was transported to the Provincetown Police Station where he was processed and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked/suspended license and possession of a Class B substance (methamphetamine) with intent to distribution.

Police did not disclose the amount of methamphetamine found in Williams's possession.

Williams was arraigned in Orleans District Court on Monday.
