JetBlue announces direct seasonal service from NYC to Hyannis

Service between New York City and Cape to begin June 26

JetBlue announced Wednesday that it will begin non-stop jet service from New York City to Hyannis beginning this June. According to a release issued by JetBlue, Hyannis will be the airline's 86th destination.

On June 26, 2014, JetBlue will begin offering one daily flight between NYC's John F. Kennedy International Airport and the Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis through September 9, 2014.

JetBlue currently offers non-stop flights from New York to the Islands.

"New Yorkers will now be able to access Cape Cod much quicker, more conveniently and for a lot less money," said JetBlue President Robin Hayes.

To mark the new flight service, JetBlue is offering customers who book today or tomorrow, a one-way flight between June 26 and July 24 (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) for only $99.

The JetBlue schedule for the new service between New York (JFK) to Hyannis/Cape Cod (HYA) will be:

  • Depart JFK at 11:59 a.m., arrive HYA at 1:05 p.m. (except Saturdays)
  • Depart JFK at 12:00 p.m., arrive HYA at 1:06 p.m. (Saturdays only)
  • Depart HYA at 1:45 p.m., arrive JFK at 2:53 p.m. (daily)

On the first day of flight, June 26, the return flight to JFK will depart at 3:05 p.m., according to the JetBlue release.
