Three charged with heroin/cocaine trafficking following East Falmouth drug raid

Police confiscate over $20,000 in assorted illegal narcotics

EAST FALMOUTH - Five people were arrested early Wednesday morning during a drug raid at a Marshall Drive home in East Falmouth. According to a Falmouth police release, officers from the Falmouth and Sandwich Police Departments, members of the Cape Cod Drug Task Force and the State Police STOP Team executed a search warrant at 51 Marshall Drive at 5:30 a.m.

The search warrant was obtained following an investigation into reportedly large quantities of heroin and cocaine being sold from the home, police said.

During the raid, police confiscated 60 grams of heroin, 122 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of Percocet pills and 32 grams of marijuana.  Police estimate the street value of the narcotics at $20,000.

A Colt semi-automatic handgun and $810 in cash were also seized.

Five people, three men and two women, were placed under arrested and transported to the Falmouth Police Station where they were booked and charged.  Three of the five face trafficking charges as a result of the raid:

  • 24-year-old Andrew Weldon of Falmouth was charged with trafficking a Class A substance (heroin), trafficking a Class B substance (cocaine), trafficking a Class A substance (Percocet/Oxycodone), knowingly being present where heroin is kept, conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act and possession of a Class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute.
  • 24-year-old Anthony Coffone of Falmouth was charged with trafficking a Class A substance (heroin), trafficking a Class B substance (cocaine), trafficking a Class A substance (Percocet/Oxycodone), knowingly being present where heroin is kept, conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act and possession of a Class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm without a permit, possession of ammunition without an FID and improper storage of a fiream.
  • 27-year-old Miranda Pina of Falmouth was charged with trafficking a Class A substance (heroin), trafficking a Class B substance (cocaine), trafficking a Class A substance (Percocet/Oxycodone), knowingly being present where heroin is kept and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act.
  • 20-year-old Samantha Sylvester of Falmouth was charged with possession of a Class A substance (heroin), knowingly being present where heroin is kept and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act.
  • 23-year-old Joseph McMahon of Famouth was charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act.
