Milling and paving starts in Osterville May 16

Bridge Street project to be completed May 30

The Town of Barnstable announced this week that milling and paving will begin on Bridge Street in Osterville Friday morning. The work is slated to start at 7 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. each day.

Milling should be completed on Wednesday, May 21 and paving is expected to be done Friday, May 30, weather-permitting.

The project will run the entire length of Bridge Street. Residents who need to leave their homes during the work day may want to consider parking their cars outside of the work zone.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes as vehicle access will be restricted to one lane.

The Barnstable Department of Public Works will be doing the resurfacing work.
