Provincetown International Film Festival seeks volunteers

Lots to do at the June festival including set up and manning the box office

The organizers of the Provincetown International Film Festival (PIFF) are seeking volunteers.  This year, the 16th annual PIFF will be held June 18 through 22.

There are several volunteer slots to fill in a variety of areas including event set up, box office, theater staff, concessions, merchandise retail, special events, catalog distribution, guest services and more.

Volunteers will be handsomely rewarded with a special t-shirt, swag and free tickets and admission and free drinks to the opening and closing parties. There will also be a volunteer party at the closing featuring one of the titles screened at the festival.

This year's festival is sure to be an exciting one. The annual award recipients were recently announced: actress Patricia Clarkson will receive the 2014 Excellence in Acting Award, director David Cronenberg will receive the 2014 Filmmaker on the Edge and actress Debra Winger will receive the 2014 Faith Hubley Memorial Career Achievement Award.

If you are interested in volunteering, send an email including your interests and your availability.
