Woods Hole Film Festival seeks volunteers

Volunteer at the festival, open your home to a filmmaker

The Woods Hole Film Festival is seeking volunteers. The Upper Cape festival, now in its 23rd year, will be held July 26 through August 2 in Falmouth's famous scientific village.

There are a variety of positions available, some even beginning before the festival's first day. All volunteers must be 21 or older and must have their own transportation and housing.

Volunteers are required to be available for a minimum of four days. Volunteers receive tickets and other benefits for working at the festival.

Positions include venue managers, venue assistants and ticket and merchandise sales.

New this year, volunteers are also need to house visiting filmmakers. Anyone who houses a filmmaker during the festival will receive a 6-ticket package.
