Yarmouth paving project to begin Wednesday

Expect delays on Winslow Gray Road and Long Pond Drive

WEST YARMOUTH - Although traffic will be allowed to pass through, motorists should expect delays during a two-day paving project in West Yarmouth. Beginning Wednesday, June 18, paving will begin on Winslow Gray Road and Long Pond Drive where new sidewalks were recently installed.

The work will begin at Buck Island Road. Traffic will be allowed through the paving areas, but motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid possible delays.

The project is expected to take two days to complete.

"I'ts going to look great and be a huge safety improvement for the area," said Yarmouth Police Deputy Chief Steven Xiarhos.
