Town of Dennis closes Chapin Beach to ORVs

On Tuesday the Town of Dennis closed Chapin Beach in Dennis to off road vehicles (ORVs). The closure will remain in effect through the winter.

Down the shore in East Dennis, Crowes Pasture is still open and will remain open year-round unless otherwise posted, according to the Town.

ORV stickers are available to both residents ($100) and non-residents ($200). Stickers are not issued for rental cars. ORV stickers are available through the Town of Dennis Natural Resources Department at 685 Route 134 in South Dennis, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
