Part of Old Post Road in Cotuit down to one lane Nov. 19

Paving project expected to be complete the following day

The Barnstable Department of Public Works will close one lane of Old Post Road in Cotuit for a paving project on Wednesday, November 19. From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., only one lane will be available to motorists between Route 28 and Point Isabella Road. During off hours, both lanes will be open to through traffic.

The paving project is expected to be completed the following day on Thursday, November 20.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes around the area. Delays should be expected.

Signs and police officers will be available to direct motorists.
