Millway pier and boat ramp closed for repairs

Project to take eight weeks to complete

The Town of Barnstable this week announced the closure of the Millway pier and boat ramp for repairs. The pier and boat ramp will remain closed to the public for eight weeks while the Robert B. Our Co. replaces the wooden pier and repairs the concrete mat at the base of the boat ramp.

During the estimated eight weeks it will take to complete repairs, the state's Barnstable Harbor (Blish Point) boat ramp will be open for public use.

The Barnstable Department of Public Works asks that the public avoid the area while heavy equipment is being operated in the parking area. See a complete list of Barnstable boat ramps here.

Millway Pier and the boat ramp will be open for public use this coming spring.
