Truro Board of Selectmen to hold public hearing Feb. 24

Proposed ramp and launch fee increases to be discussed

The Truro Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 24 at 5 p.m. at the Truro Town Hall to discuss proposed ramp and launch fee amendments to the Pamet Harbor Rules and Regulations. 

Changes to the following fees have been proposed:

  • Daily canoe/kayak/raft launch - currently $6, proposed increase to $7
  • Seasonal canoe/kayak/raft launch - currently $35, proposed increase to $40
  • Daily ramp fee - currently $10, proposed increase to $12
  • Non-resident daily ramp fee - currently no such fee, proposed $25
  • Commercial hauler seasonal ramp fee - currently $650, proposed increase to $700
  • Commercial hauler single launch fee - currently $65, proposed increase to $70

A copy of the proposed amendments to the Pamet Harbor Rules and Regulations is available at Board of Selectmen's Office at Town Hall or on the town's website here.

Interested parties are encouraged to attend the hearing. Comments from the public will be heard.
