Truro seniors were treated to a three-course chicken dinner Sunday at the Truro Public Safety facility on Route 6. Fifty Truro seniors enjoyed a dinner prepared by their town's firefighters and police officers.

This, the 22nd annual Truro Senior Dinner, was sponsored by the Truro Police Association and the Truro Fire Association, according to a Truro police release.

Local businesses donated prizes for the raffle and nobody went home empty-handed.

Truro Police Chief Kyle Takakjian thanked the Mike and Wendy Janoplis, the owners of the Mayflower Restaurant in Provincetown for making the event a successful one.
