FALMOUTH - An injured jet skier was rescued by boaters Friday evening off Menauhant Beach. Around 6:30 p.m. an unidentified man reportedly fell from a jet ski and was caught in a riptide.  He was rescued by recreational boaters aboard the Pipe Dream out of Foxboro.

A second jet skier was also rescued, but was not injured.

After being taken to shore, the injured jet skier, who was semiconscious when rescued, was transported to Falmouth Hospital by Falmouth Fire & Rescue. His condition is considered serious.

Neither of the two men were wearing life jackets and both were in the water for more than 15 minutes before being rescued.
