Falmouth police activity for 4/27/15 to 5/31/15.

Over the 5-week period of Monday, April 27, 2015 to Sunday, May 31, 2015, the officers of the Falmouth Police Department responded to 2,816 calls for service. 

During the month there were 55 disturbance/disorderly calls (one protective custody), 8 reports of harassment, 11 threats and 8 A&B/assault calls (2 arrests). Officers attempted 18 warrant services (9 arrests), 34 summons services (16 in hand) and 3 harassment order services (one in hand). There was one report of a man with a gun.

Officers investigated 15 vandalism calls (one arrest), 11 trespass calls (2 arrests), 46 suspicious motor vehicles (2 arrests) and 40 suspicious persons (one arrest). There were 30 intoxicated persons (2 arrests, 6 protective custody) and 11 unwanted guests. There were 4 drug law violations (one arrest).

There were 2 commercial break-ins, 6 residential break-ins and 6 motor vehicle/trailer break-ins. There were 9 reports of ID theft/fraud, 11 shoplifting calls (2 arrests), one robbery, 33 larcenies and 3 motor vehicle thefts. Two motor vehicles were recovered.

Officers assisted citzens on 98 occasions, Falmouth firefighters on 25 occasions and other police departments on 15 occasions. There was one fire. Officers conducted 57 welfare checks (2 protective custody) and were called in to preserve the peace on 13 occasions. Officers responded to 212 burglar alarms.

There were 9 medical emergencies, 5 suicide attempts/threats, 6 Section 35 (drugs and alcohol) and 8 missing persons. There were four unattended deaths. There were 14 overdoses.

There were 23 noise complaints, one annoying phone call, 13 dirt bike/ATV complaints, 5 fireworks complaints, 5 reports of gunshots, 4 illegal dumping complaints, 32 animal complaints and one report of an injured animal.   

Two hundred and fifty-one motorists were pulled over (76 citations, 18 arrests, one passenger in protective custody). There were 90 additional motor vehicle-related calls (8 citations), 45 parking violation calls (13 tickets) and 41 erratic drivers (2 arrests).

  • On Sunday, May 31 at 6:33 p.m., Michael Tondryk, 26, of 2 Shawmut Ave. in Holyoke, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Farview Lane on an open arrest warrant.
  • On Friday, May 29 at 9:37 a.m., a 15-year-old juvenile was arrested during a shoplifting call on Teaticket Highway and charged with shoplifting by asportation.
  • On Friday, May 29 at 2 a.m., Craig A. Costa, 41, of 293 S. Sandwich Road in Mashpee, was arrested during a suspicious motor vehicle call on Main Street and charged with possession of a Class B substance.
  • On Tuesday, May 26 at 9:39 p.m., Jessica L. Enos, 25, of 38 Broken Bow Lane in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on East Falmouth Highway and charged with 2 counts of possession of a Class A substance and possession of a Class B substance. There was also a warrant for arrest.
  • On Monday, May 25 at 8:49 p.m., Kaitlyn Marie Tremblay, 24, of 39 Pinehurst Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway and charged with possession of a Class E substance. There was also a warrant for arrest.
  • On Monday, May 25 at 8:26 p.m., Stephen M. Fish, 56, of 777 Blacksmith Shop Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway and charged with OUI-liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle.
  • On Sunday, May 24 at 10:51 p.m., Jacob Christopher Roessler, 23, homeless, was arrested during a warrant service on an arrest warrant.
  • On Sunday, May 24 at 6:37 p.m., Sadie Anne Campbell, 39, of 454 Brick Kiln Road in Falmouth, was arrested during a vandalism call on Gifford Street Ext. and charged with disorderly conduct (subsequent offense), intimidation of a witness, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On Sunday, May 24 at 1:07 p.m., Marki Mae Matchem, 24, of 80 Pattee Road in Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on East Falmouth Highway and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a Class B substance and possession of a Class E substance. There was also a warrant arrest.
  • On Friday, May 22 at 10:38 p.m., Jeffrey W. Boggier, 67, of 232 Southwest MDWS in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway and charged with OUI-liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. The passenger was taken into protective custody.
  • On Friday, May 22 at 10:10 p.m., Michelle Christin Crum, 27, of 175 North Street, Apt. 2 in Bridgewater, was arrested during an erratic driver call and charged with OUI-liquor, failure to dim headlights and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On Friday, May 22 at 7:20 p.m., Patrick S. Austin, 46, of 185 Widgeon Drive in Eastham, was arrested during an intoxicated person call on Spring Bars Road and charged with OUI-liquor (2nd offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, possession of a open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and possession of a Class E substance.
  • On Friday, May 22 at 5:35 p.m., Deborah Marie Dondero, 55, of 8 Rosemary Lane in East Falmouth, was arrested during a trespass call on Gifford Street and charged with trespass.
  • On Friday, May 22 at 1:41 p.m., Marguerite Patricia Mullaney, 58, of 12 Oak Knoll Road in Worcester, was arrested during a shoplifting call on Main Street and charged with shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise.
  • On Friday, May 22 at 9:10 a.m., Timothy Ray Turner, 51, of 469 Sandridge Road in Little River, SC, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Main Street and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license, unregistered motor vehicle, number plate violation to conceal ID (attaching) and improper turn.
  • On Thursday, May 21 at 6:48 p.m., Robert M. Estrela, 24, of 485 Teaticket Highway, Apt. 20 in East Falmouth, was arrested during an assault/A&B call on Teaticket Highway and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Arrested with Copeland.
  • On Thursday, May 21 at 6:48 p.m., Cailey Elise Copeland, 25, of 39 Pebble Lane in Falmouth, was arrested during an assault/A&B call on Teaticket Highway and charged with A&B (simple) and assault with a dangerous weapon. Arrested with Estrela.
  • On Wednesday, May 20 at 9:22 p.m., Mark W. O'Connell, 45 of 105 John Parker Road in Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop at East Falmouth Highway and Davisville Road on three open arrest warrants.
  • On Wednesday, May 20 at 6:25 p.m., Jamie Lee Jonas, 45, of 199 Turner Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on East Falmouth Highway and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license-subsequent offense.
  • On Tuesday, May 19 at 8:49 p.m., Lauren E. Christian, 32, of 175 Teaticket Highway, Apt. 9 in Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service on an open warrant.
  • On Tuesday, May 19 at 7:29 p.m., Daniel Erik Fleer, 20, of 411 West Falmouth Highway in West Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on North Falmouth Highway on three open arrest warrants.
  • On Monday, May 18 at 3:45 a.m., Akeene R. Artega, 24, of 209 Linwood, RI, was arrested during an area check on Pilot Way on an open arrest warrant.
  • On Saturday, May 16 at 12:03 a.m., Corey M. Gale, 24, of 86 Vidal Ave. in East Falmouth, was arrested during an area check on Sandwich Road and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. There was also a warrant for Gale's arrest.
  • On Thursday, May 14 at 4:09 p.m., Michael Burnham, 35, of 6 Victory Ave. in Avon, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop at Teaticket Highway and Oxbow Road and charged with motor vehicle operator refusing to identify self, failure to stop/yield, failure to wear seat belt and possession of a Class A substance. There were also four open warrants for Burnham's arrest.
  • On Tuesday, May 12 at 11:45 a.m., Corey A. Crump, 38, of 44 Border St., Apt. 314 in East Boston, was arrested during a warrant service on County Road on an open warrant.
  • On Tuesday, May 12 at 8 a.m., Christopher J. Aiken, 27, of 120 Wheeler Street in Mashpee, was arrested during a warrant service on Main Street on two open warrants.
  • On Monday, May 11 at 8:41 p.m., Carrie Lynn Acosta, 28 of 498 Locustfield Road in Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service at that address on an open arrest warrant.
  • On Sunday, May 10 at 6:22 p.m., Tianna Oakley Perry, 28 of 148 Central Ave. in East Falmouth, was arrested in the Walmart parking lot on Teaticket Highway during a suspicious person call and charged with trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium, three counts of possession of a Class E substance, possession of a Class C substance with intent to distribute and drug violation near a school/park.   • On Saturday, May 9 at 10:41 p.m., David C. Dewees, 46 of 110 Dillingham Ave., Apt. 214 in Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Dillingham Ave. and charged with operating a motor vehilce with a suspended/revoked license, speeding and failure to stop for police. There was also an outstanding warrant for Dewees's arrest.
  • On Saturday, May 9 at 12:35 a.m., Raul Figueroa, 34, homeless-Falmouth, was arrested during a drug law violation call at Teaticket Highway and Maravista Ave. Ext. and charged with possession of a Class A substance and possession of a Class E substance. There were also three outstanding warrants for Figueroa's arrest.
  • On Friday, May 8 at 7:32 p.m., Anthony M. Hathaway of One Sabbath Road in Pocasset, was arrested during a suspicious motor vehicle call on Davis Straits and charged with possession of a Class A substance. 
  • On Friday, May 8 at 9:52 a.m., Samantha A. Farrell, 29 of 3 Ruth Terrace in Waquoit, was arrested during a disturbance/disorderly call on Teaticket Highway and charged with trespassing.
  • On Thursday, May 7 at 6:20 p.m., Devon Almeida-Paul, 27, of 81 Braeside Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway on an arrest warrant service.
  • On Wednesday, May 6 at 4:22 p.m., Kirk M. Bater, 30, of 79 Regis Road in East Falmouth, was arrested during an attempt to locate on an arrest warrant.
  • On Wednesday, May 6 at 7:06 a.m., John F. Wells III, 46, of 300 Falmouth Road, Apt. 16D in Mashpee, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Main Street and charged with number plate violation and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • On Wednesday, May 6 at 5:38 a.m., Robert M. Smith, 30, of 2 Glenview Circle in E. Wareham, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on East Falmouth Highway and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license (subsequent offense) and an outstanding warrant.
  • On Tuesday, May 5 at 3:35 p.m., Suzanne M. Sullivan, 61, of 22 Pebble Lane in East Falmouth, was arrested during a warrant service on Davisville Road on two outstanding warrants.
  • On Monday, May 4 at 11:12 p.m., Christopher Noble Arthur, 24, of 114 Sanders Road in Norwood, was arrested following a motor vehicle accident on Gifford Street and charged with OUI-liquor, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On Monday, May 4 at 8:57 a.m., Todd Michael Blair, 45, of 77 Winter Street in Hyannis, was arrested during a warrant service on Teaticket Highway on a probation violation.
  • On Saturday, May 2 at 1:25 a.m., Michaela Phelan, 23, of 5313 Edith Street in N. Charleston, SC, was arrested during an erratic motor vehicle call on Atwater Drive and charged with OUI-liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. 
  • On Friday, May 1 at 9:25 a.m., Mitchell J. DiMaggio, 26, of 15 Hane Road in Mashpee, was arrested during an attempt to locate call on Cedar Meadows Lane on an arrest warrant.
  • On Wednesday, April 29 at 5:09 p.m., Brendan J. Medeiros, 34, of 62 Sandwich Road in East Falmouth, was arrested at that address during an intoxicated person call and charged with cruelty to animal, assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. See the story here.
  • On Tuesday, April 28 at 11:31 a.m., Peter James Halkett, 20, of 111 Sycamore Drive in Westwood, was arrested during a recovered property call on Seacoast Shores Blvd. and charged with disorderly conduct and 4 counts of malicious destruction of property under $250, wanton destruction of property under $250 and 10 counts of malicious destruction of property over $250.
  • On Tuesday, April 28 at 10:01 a.m., Kelsey Hazel Carr, 23, of 24 Wyndlea Circle in Falmouth, was arrested during a trespassing call on Wyndlea Circle and charged with trespass.
  • On Tuesday, April 28 at 1:07 a.m., Thomas Hugh Massey Jr., 44, of 47 Arnold Place in North Adams, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Teaticket Highway and charged with no inspection/sticker and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense). 
  • On Monday, April 27 at 9:36 a.m., Kelsey Hazel Carr, 23, of 24 Wyndlea Circle in Falmouth, was arrested at that address during a warrant service on an outstanding warrant.
