Town of Bourne releases 2014 tax title listing

If taxes aren't paid, town will take parcels of land for non-payment

The Town of Bourne released the 2014 tax title listing two weeks ago. The listing, which contained 79 entries, also included the notice that if the taxes assessed for 2014 are not paid or discharged by Friday, June 26 at 9 a.m., the parcels of land will be taken by the town.

The most owed for 2014 tax is $6,947.34 for 22.410 acres with an assessed value of $723,100.

The smallest amount due is $22.30 on an unbuildable Andrea Road property assessed at $4,200.  

In all, 2014 owed taxes total $123,680.96. Many of the owners are also deliquent on other items including 2014 CPA and 2014 Water.
