Falmouth police officer seriously injured in head-on crash

Officer flown to Boston hospital, other driver taken to Falmouth Hospital

FALMOUTH - A Falmouth police officer was seriously injured in a head-on crash Saturday night. According to a Falmouth police release, the crash occurred near Domino's at 667 Teaticket Highway around 9:39 p.m.

Officer Richard Bradley sustained serious injuries in the crash, the release said. He was transported by a MedFlight crew to a Boston-area hospital. 

The other driver, an unidentified 91-year-old woman, was transported by Falmouth Fire & Rescue to Falmouth Hospital with minor injuries. 

The Massachusetts State Police Crash Reconstruction Team is investigating the cause of the crash.

There is no word on Officer Bradley's condition.
