Tree limb crashes into two vehicles in Falmouth

FALMOUTH - A tree limb fell into the road in Falmouth Tuesday evening, crashing into two vehicles. According to a Falmouth police release, a tree limb crashed into two vehicles near 225 Palmer Ave. around 5:10 a.m.

One of the vehicles was a 2010 Chevy Silverado pickup truck driven by a 58-year-old man from Falmouth. The second was a 2006 Chrysler Sebring driven by a 60-year-old man from New York.

Neither driver was injured, according to police. The Silverado sustained minor damage, while the damage to the Sebring's front end was significant, police said.

Prior to crashing into the two vehicles, the fallen limb took down power lines. Police closed the road for a short time while Eversource crews repaired the lines.
