Things just got a little easier for Eastham Public Library patrons. The library has installed a new, convenient book return at the Schoolhouse Museum. The seasonal satellite box will make it easier for patrons returning books and other library materials.
The Eastham Public Library is currently residing in temporary digs in the parking lot of the Eastham Town Hall at 2510 State Highway (Route 6). The three trailers will be the library's home until the completion of the new library at 190 Samoset Road.
The seasonal deposit box at the museum is located at the front walkway and is a much easier spot to access with the increased volume of summertime traffic--especially on Route 6.
The Schoolhouse Museum is at 25 Schoolhouse Road, opposite the Salt Pond Visitor Center on Nauset Road.
Construction of the town's new library is underway. See project updates on the library's website here. According to the Eastham Library Building Fund website, the targeted completion date is still spring 2016.
