Road work on Main Street in Cotuit starts September 21

Project expected to be completed by mid-October

The Barnstable Department of Public Works will resume work on Main Street in Cotuit on Monday, September 21. The project will consist of roadway and drainage improvements. 

The work will be restricted to Main Street between Ocean View Avenue and Vineyard Road.

Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. During that time, only one lane will be open to traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes during work time.

The Barnstable DPW anticipates the work being done by mid-October.
