Town of Mashpee seasonal flu clinics set for October 26 & November 10

All residents 18 and over are eligible

The Town of Mashpee will hold two seasonal flu clinics, one on Monday, October 26 and one on Tuesday, November 10. Both flu clinics are open to all residents 18 and over.

The October 26 clinic will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the November 10 clinic will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Both clinics will be held at Christ the King Parish Center on Job Fishing Road.

The clinics will be conducted by the Visiting Nurses Association of Cape Cod and the Mashpee Council on Aging. This year's vaccination will protect against H1N1, H3N2 and the B/Yamagata virus.

Residents without insurance, those with insurance and those on Medicare Part B are all eligible. Anyone enrolled in Medicare B is required to bring their card to the clinic for registration and reimbursement purposes.

Questions may be directed to the Mashpee Health Department at 508-539-1426.
