It's true--Cape Cod has awesome food. After all, the folks at Food Network just can't stay away. In 2003 Rachel Ray hit us up on her $40 a Day series (she visited Captain Parker's, Jack's Outback, the Roadhouse Cafe and the Mews). In 2014 Bobby Flay "threwdown" at Collucci Brother's Diner in Hyannis. Over the past 10+ years, several other Food Network personalities have visited our shores.

In May Guy Fieri, the platinum-crowned host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives made a visit to the Upper Cape.  On Friday, October 9, Fieri's visit to Shuckers World Famous Raw Bar in Woods Hole will be featured in Episode DV2309H - "Finger Lickin' Food".  During the episode, Fieri will also visit restaurants in Atlanta and Minneapolis. Fieri has featured other Cape establishments on this long-running series.

Two Shucker's recipes are featured (Shucker's Portuguese Mussels and Shucker's Stuffed Quahog). Both recipes may be found on the Food Network website here.

"Finger Lickin' Food" featuring Shuckers premieres on the Food Network at 10 p.m. Friday, October 9. If you miss the episode or missed DVRing it, it will re-air on Food Network on Saturday, October 10 at 1 a.m., Monday, October 12 at 11 p.m. and Tuesday, October 13 at 2 a.m.

Shuckers World Famous Raw Bar is at 91A Water Street in Woods Hole.
