Cape Cod Regional Technical School to host Tech Night November 5

Parents and 7th and 8th grade students invited to attend informational evening in Harwich

Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Harwich will host Tech Night on Thursday, November 5 at 6 p.m. Sixth and seventh grade students and their parents are encouraged to attend the informational event. 

Attendees are invited to have dinner at the school and tour the seventeen technical shops. The school's technical shops are auto collision, auto technology, carpentry, cosmetology, culinary arts, dental assisting, early childhood development, electrical, engineering, graphic arts, health technology, horticulture, HVAC, information technologies, marine services, metal fabricating and welding and plumbing and heating.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE), there were 647 students (390 male, 257 female) enrolled at Cape Tech during calendar year 2014-2015. The student to teacher ratio was 9 to 1. 

There will be three dinner seatings, 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The techincal shops will be open between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
