Orleans Winter Farmers Market starts up December 5

Winter farmers market to take place the first and third Saturdays

If you've been missing locally-crafted products and fresh produce, you are in luck. The Orleans Winter Farmers Market will begin its season on Saturday, December 5. On the first and third Saturday of the month, December through April, the market will be held at Nauset Regional Middle School on Route 28 in Orleans.

The hours for the winter farmers market are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

The market will be held in the school cafeteria. There will be weekly demonstrations and entertainment. Live music on Saturday, December 5 will be provided by Pans in Paradise. More than 20 vendors have signed on to participate including Cape Abilities Farm, Cape Cup and Wellfleet Sea Salt. The Nauset Middle School Greenhouse Learning Laboratory will also participate in the market.

SNAP/EBT will be accepted at the market.

The Orleans Winter Farmers Market is a project of the Community Development Partnership and receives funding from the USDA Rural Development Program and the Cape Cod Economic Development Council.
