HomeGoods to open in Wareham

Home decor store will be the most recent addition to Wareham Crossing

The large storefront that once housed a Best Buy at Wareham Crossing will be vacant no longer. Wareham Crossing announced this week that HomeGoods will be opening in the location next to Old Navy.

"It has been an exciting year for Wareham Crossing, the South Coast's largest outdoor shopping destination," said Wareham Crossing General Manager Bill Hamilton. "HomeGoods is a wonderful addition to our retail mix and we are looking forward to their opening in spring 2016."

The home decor chain is owned by TJX Companies which also own Marshalls and T. J. Maxx. There is currently a T. J. Maxx store at Wareham Crossing.

According to the release, HomeGoods will receive several product shipments each week, keeping the stock interesting and fresh for consumers. There are currently 41 retail shops at Wareham Crossing. The most recent to open was the Black Dog Outlet in October. There are currently two HomeGoods stores on Cape Cod (one in Hyannis and one Falmouth) and one just off Cape in Plymouth.

An exact date for the opening has not been announced.

Wareham Crossing is at 2421 Cranberry Highway.
