Wellfleet Preservation Hall dishes up Food on Film Series

Five screenings, each featuring a small plate menu, begin January 28

Wellfleet Preservation Hall will once again dish up a Food on Film Series. The series, which includes five screenings featuring small plate menus, will being on Thursday, January 28. 

Now in its fourth season, this year's series is entitled "Table Manners: Recipes for Polite Society". The series "deals with the confines of class and the balance of personal freedoms in the midst of tight family and social structures."

Each of the 6 p.m. screenings begins with a small plate menu inspired by that evening's film and an introduction by the hosts, Wellfleet Preservation Hall Director Vanessa Downing and Kim Shkapich of Lola's Local Food Lab.

The featured films are "The Age of Innocence" on January 28, "Raise the Red Lantern" on February 18, "East of Eden" on March 10, "I Am Love" on March 31 and "Metropolitan" on April 14. 

Tickets are $15 per evening or $60 for a "Film Foodie" season pass. Seating is limited.

The series will be held at Wellfleet Preservation Hall, 335 Main Street in Wellfleet. Tickets are available by calling 508-349-1800 or by visiting the website.
