2015 tax title listing released by Town of Bourne

If taxes aren't paid, town will take parcels of land for non-payment

The Town of Bourne released the 2015 tax title listing last week. The listing, which contained 93 entries, also included the notice that if the taxes assessed for 2015 are not paid or discharged by Friday, February 5 at 9 a.m., the parcels of land will be taken by the town.

The most owed for 2015 tax is $7,160.78 for 1.27 acres on Wolf Road with an assessed value of $735,300 (building and land).

The smallest amount due is $14.20 on a landlocked property (14,767 SF) on Scenic Highway with an assessed value of $2,900.  

In all, 2015 owed taxes total $149,101.15. Many of the owners are also deliquent on other items including 2015 CPA and 2015 Water.  To learn more about the process, see the tax title procedure overview on the Town of Bourne Website here.
