Bourne High to host career fair on March 8

Local businesses encouraged to register, reach out to students

Bourne High School will host a career fair for students on Tuesday, March 8. Local business owners are encouraged to sign up and meet with career-minded students.

The career fair brings local businesses and future members of the work force together. Employers will have the opportunity to share information about their companies with Bourne High School juniors and seniors. Educators and students will learn about the current state of the workplace and the skills required to succeed.

Students will be given the opportunity to learn about different careers and practice interviewing and networking. Some students may even come away with a job commitment or an internship with a participating company.

All employers and students are encouraged to "dress for success".

To register or learn more about the career fair, contact Heather Baldic, Bourne Community Internship Liaison in the Bourne High School Guidance Office at 508-759-0676 ext. 230. The fair is tentatively scheduled for 11:45 a.m. to 1:42 p.m. Participating employers will be allotted table and booths.
