JFK Museum work requires temporary parking lot entrance closure in Hyannis

Access to Barnstable Town Hall parking lot available via South Street

A sprucing up at the John F. Kennedy Museum in Hyannis will required the temporary closing of one of the entrances to the Town Hall parking lot off Main Street. The entrance between the museum at 397 Main Street and the Hyannis Public Library at 401 Main Street will be closed to motorists between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until Wednesday, June 1.

Motorists will still be able to access the parking lot from the other entrance on South Street. The exit to Main Street from the parking lot will not be affected by the closure, according to the town.

The entrance closure will allow painters to safely access the side of building using mobile platforms.
